The trial cryptid hunt went quite well. I took the Phoslyte on the trail of La Lechuza and we saw quite a number of standard owl on our multi-day field-trip. He was quite enthusiastic and giddy. Despite his childlike mannerisms in his display of excitement, his note-taking was quite professional. I’ve read his own logs retelling our outing and I'm quite impressed. I wonder if he always had this professional and scientific approach to his interest in fairies and cryptids or if he learned it from watching me write down logs and reading some of my early logs.
